We offer a range of after-school programmes, from additional English lessons to our Clarence Clubs, children can continue their learning and develop new interests and skills.

Kids English Club

At Clarence International School, we pride ourselves in developing a love of the English Language through fun, stimulating and thought-provoking activities. Our KEC programme is designed to meet the needs of all children, whatever their stage of language development. Using the Cambridge University Press textbooks, as well as the renowned Read Write Inc. Phonics scheme, our curriculum is designed to give children a solid foundation in speaking, reading and writing English.

Japanese Classes

The Clarence International School Japanese Programme is designed especially for preschool children to provide them with the Japanese skills they need for entry into top Tokyo schools. The classes are delivered in our unique Clarence way; full of fun, arts, cultural immersion and high quality teaching and learning and will provide children with a solid foundational understanding of the language. Our teachers will guide students on their journey whether it’s learning first words or writing in hiragana and katakana.

Judo

Absolute Judo classes are taught in a fun and engaging way focusing on the fundamentals of the “Gentle Way”. Children will not only learn the technical aspects of Judo, but also the philosophical foundation upon which this art was created. From anti-bullying techniques to training for competition to universal life skills, Judo can be a transformative activity for any child.

Holiday Schools

Our Holiday schools run at various points throughout the year. These special week-long programmes, led by our CIS team, are always full of fun, excitement and lots of laughter. Every school is theme-based with previous highlights including The Wizarding World, The Twelve Days of Christmas and Circus.

Daycare

The Clarence Daycare programme offers children the perfect opportunity to relax in a comfortable environment each day. With different activities on offer throughout the week, children can take part in messy, sensory play, singing and dancing as well as crafts and games.
